An MSC-certification requires industry, biologists and management authorities to collaborate on the project

Co-operation

Sustainable Fisheries Greenland co-operates with researchers at several institutes and universities both in and outside Greenland. The organisation also collaborates closely with the administration in Greenland, primarily the Ministry of Fisheries, Hunting and Agriculture and Greenland’s Fishery Licence Control. The co-operation primarily deals with the exchange of data and financial support for projects relating to MSC-certified fisheries in Greenland. Without such co-operation and the data that this brings, MSC certification would either be extremely difficult or, in some cases, very unlikely.
